Took my daughter out on Minnetonka this morning and we slammed the largemouth.

Family, spinnerbaits, and bass. Don't get better than that!

No thanks, Big Island parting is for the drunk and rude crowd. I was on water patrol out there for 3 years and we had more calls to that place for fights, DWI and exposure than the rest of the county. I also did a body recover there one 4th of July that was caused by a fight and then a guy being run over by his own boat driven by another occupant.

I'll fish the lake any weekday or very early on Sat. Other than that you have to do Spring and Fall, before the nuts come out.

Yes, I was there and we had to cut anchor lines and push boats out of the way.

People would not move, even after we told them we were trying to do a rescue and later a recovery. The excuse they gave was they did not want to lose their viewing spot for the fireworks. The fact there was a person in the water did not matter to them.

Total jerks, everyone of them that gave us crap should have had their boat confiscated and lost their registration for a few years.

I remember that from the news. I just can't believe how insensitive people can be sometimes.
