Waiting for Soft water

So i was in the pole shed yesterday, and couldn't help but think about fishing soft water. I thought about running her down to Red Wing to do a little eye fishing, but the weekend traffic is nutz down there. Oh well, about 2 months and we'll get out and running

I'm waiting for either the Rainy or the Missouri to open. South Dakota should be ready early April.

I'm headed down to OK at the end of April to do a little slab and kitty fishing, i'm all too afraid this will be how I end up opening my season.

I just checked the batteries in the Skeeter today and can't wait to get on open water and let her run.

Opener for Bass seems a long time from now.
