Bit the bullet and bought a water purifier. Bought the same MSR one you have. Glad I work at an outdoors store, got it for $65 :D . Thank you anyways for offering to borrow yours I appreciate it.

You won't be sorry... Good price! I've thought about working at gander/rei/dicks part time just for the discount... icon_rofl

You will love it though... Clear, great tasting water from even merky stuff.

When you get home, run a glass or two of water with 1tsp of bleach to clean out and kill any nasties...

Rob, REI has a reatil event comming up. Just when question when would you have time to work there with everything else you do? ;)

Aug 16th REI has a basic interview skill for retail jobs. One of the things is what it's like to work at REI.
I've been thinking about getting a part itme job until my wife gets a job. The question is do you get a job for the stuff you're interested in? They paycheck might not cover everthing you like. ;)

That is the catch 22... I want the job for the discount, but I will end up spending more money on stuff...

What is cool is employees get to try stuff out, and report back on it too... I'd love to do that... and get some more review videos going....
